NEW!! Introducing for 2007, my new corseted dress.
I have been striving to blend the contemporary style with the feel of romance and magic. The combination of a Victorian corset, and a slim-line skirt, provides for a silhouette that is elegant, yet, alluring, romantic, and feminine! You can also see that I have been influenced in some part by the works of Chantal Mallett.
The corset is fully boned. It is trimmed with ivory pearls and laces up in the back. The design comfortably slims the waist, and beautifully compliments the bust and hips. The skirt is close fitting at the hips, and flares out just above the knee, to become much fuller at the bottom. The skirt has a train that can be made short or longer, depending on your tastes.
The ensemble is completed by an optional sleeved vest. It is a great touch for the bride to wear on those lightly chilled evenings!
The prototype in the pictures is made in brocade and shantung. The original will be offered in dupioni silk and brocade. Other choices of fabrics will be also available. Please contact me for more information and pricing.
The accessories, such as the mask, the crown, the necklace, and the standing collar can also be ordered separately.
The pictures posted here are primarily for your inspiration. The gown itself can be made just as pictured, or certain details of it can be customized - fabrics, colors, shape of the skirt, etc, for a truly unique look!
I hope you enjoy this new gown, as much as I have.
